GuidesWhat actually unlocks, and when
How progression works in Just Dance: Decades of Hits — star ratings, alternate routines, Dancer Cards, cosmetics and what the game gives you for free.
Read →Updated 2026-10-14Just Dance: Decades of Hits is the eighteenth mainline Just Dance game, and the first built around one idea: every era on one dance floor. Ubisoft shipped it on October 13, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the Switch 2 edition following on November 10, 2026. Instead of a yearly numbered roster it hands you 35 tracks across six decades — '70s disco, '80s rock and pop, '90s hip-hop and Eurodance, 2000s glossy pop, 2010s club, and a 2020s block that is the biggest era in the game.

Official Ubisoft key art.
Everything here is written against that launch build: the full song list with routine types, the complete Adventure Mode campaign, how six people dance on one console, and the practical things the in-game tutorials skim.
What is actually new in this one
Adventure Mode — a story campaign exclusive to this game: you play as Lyra, Dr. Gigavolt's daughter, through six decade-themed worlds to rescue her father, earning era cosmetics as you go. Dancer Cards give every person in the room their own profile and scoring effects. And the library merges — if you own any of the 2023–2026 editions, their songs, your Music Packs and an active Just Dance+ catalogue all land in one list. Input is a phone on all three console families, with no camera or mat, and local play runs up to six dancers on one screen.
Where to go next
Start with the full song list and its live filter, then pick your era: '70s, '80s, '90s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s. Running the story? The Adventure Mode guide has the world order and a tracker. Setting up a room? Read multiplayer and phone controller before anyone picks up a phone. New to the series? The beginner ladder orders twelve routines so each one teaches the next.
